La question que JC Decaut ne peut pas poser. Pourquoi ne prennez-vous pas un abonnement vélib à l'année. 1) L'inscription est trop chiante, 2) Pour faire durer le plaisir, 3) Parce que vous êtes un gros radin ?

Translation: I have a question. Why don't Parisians buy an annual membership to Vélib'?

It's too much of a pain to go through the suscription process?
To make the pleasure last?
I'm too cheap to spend 30€?

There is a big campaign through out Paris. They say "subscribe to Velib annually". And I don't understand why parisians would'nt. Getting a new short term membership is a pain. It takes 7 to 10 minutes.

I'd choose 1 as it is a very difficult process. Is there a better way to get an annual pass linked to navigo? That is, is there a place a person can go where they can link their navigo with Velib on the spot? (instead of doing the form, the check, the rib, the online activation, etc.)

I finally received my navigo in the post and have recently been to the Poste Office, the RATP ticket counters in three different stations, each one tells you to go to another one, and the last one told me to go to the Hotel de Ville. While the velib machine instructs you to go to all of the above to get the annual pass. That is why no one gets it.
